luz is from a broken home and has always struggled to get by as he was younger, he was kicked out of his home early on and had to crash at some friends places for a while, attempting to sort out all the trauma he's experienced. he's an abuse survivor and easily manipulated which is how he ended up with the wrong people and got into some shady business. he recently got his own place and is trying to get his life back together, he sometimes plays gigs with his band but they don't do all too well. still, he does his best to get better and deviate from his self-sabotaging brain but he can't help but to self-medicate to cope with the demons of his past. he still has little to no contact with his birth family, thankfully, and spends most of his time with his friends because he's incapable of being on his own for too long. he tends to unpack his trauma by creating stories and characters in his free time as he's a dnd fanatic and religiously plays with a new group of friends he's made recently, some that actually accept him the way that he is.
