Screen The social dilemma in Classrooms

Host a screening to promote financial literacy:

Celebrate Financial Literacy Month with a screening of The Social Dilemma, made accessible to every teacher and student across the U.S. from April 26th – May 3rd.

The core aspects of financial literacy – critical thinking, healthy skepticism, caution – apply to more than just personal finance. A person’s digital health can directly impact their financial well-being. Ignite a conversation in your classroom about what it means to be a smart consumer in the digital age:

  • Explore the ways marketers capitalize on human psychology to drive “clicks” to their products and promote impulse buying.
  • Question the role social media plays in creating silos of news and information that reinforce pre-existing beliefs.
  • Empower students with knowledge and information to protect their personal and financial well-being and help them define what a healthy relationship with technology means to them.
