Gamerji, India's Esports Platform, Launches in the Middle East

One of the India's leading esports platforms is now available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Gamerji, one of India's biggest esports platform, has launched in the Middle East. The service is now available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with plans to expand into more MENA territories over the next three months.

Gamerji has garnered over 3 million users in India, and conducts 300 tournaments daily, and is now looking towards the Middle East region to grow the platform, and even enable cross-borders tournaments. The aim, according to the company, is to have around 250,000 "playing and paying" users in the region.

The platform is currently hosting four games, namely PUBG Mobile, FiFA 22, Call of Duty Mobile, and Clash Royale. Players can sign up for the service on the website or mobile (Android only), and play in any of the featured tournaments to earn coins. These coins can be redeemed for vouchers available on the platform, such as AED 50 Mall of the Emirates vouchers, iTunes and Amazon gift cards, Etisalat pre-paid recharge, and Google Play vouchers.

Alternatively, players can also purchase coin packs and bundles to enable them to participate in special tournaments, or buy skin and avatars. The platform also plans to introduce a subscription model, which will be based on the game and the duration a user would like to subscribe.

As of writing, Gamerji is hosting a Call of Duty Mobile Solo tournament and two Clash Royale tournaments worth 30,000 coins each, four FIFA 21 PC Knockout touraments worth 5,000 coins each, and two PUBG Mobile Solo tournament worth 5,000 coins each.
