Publisher's summary

Losing a loved one will force one man to admit his truth or risk losing his heart forever.

A very special man, Nelson Bradshaw, saves both Drake Cooper and Lincoln Porter from life on the streets. As a legal guardian, Nelson becomes a parental figure, teaching them the value of their young lives and how it truly feels to be loved for who they are, faults and all.

Working side by side in Nelson's advertising company, desire builds between Drake and Lincoln, finally exploding in one shared night that ends in disaster, leaving Drake lost and heartbroken.
Now, years have passed and tragedy can make you reevaluate what is important.

After their mentor is murdered, Drake and Lincoln discover their attraction is as strong as ever. However, before they can think of building a long awaited future together, they need to face the truth about their pasts.

Drake and Lincoln

The Truth Will Set You Free is a beautifully written short story about Drake and Lincoln. Though Lincoln is 8 years older than Drake they both had similar experiences with living on the street and being saved and helped by a wonderful man named Nelson. When tragedy brings them back together they must face the truth about what they want and hold on tight to it. I love how Lincoln never let go of his feelings for Drake and he was finally strong enough to be honest with himself and with Drake. They both deserve a happy ending together.
Narrator Guy Veryzer does a wonderful job.

We all have emotional baggage that holds us back!

Although I write reviews, I don't read them, and I also don't read the blurbs on the various books or audiobooks.
Therefore I listened to this audiobook last night and marveled at the author's ability to put into words the feelings of these two people, who were so attracted to each other, but for one's inability to cope with the stigma, their one time of yielding to their attraction had been the last.
Now, due to an emotional day, they were again in each other's company. Can they sort out their barriers, so they realize, that being with that certain person, is life changing.
Yes I enjoyed the tale!

second chance

Past baggage and shared tragedies gave Linc and Drake a second chance for healing and love. An emotional heart tugger. I liked the strength of character both men exhibited to face the past and truths aired. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job
