Carrying on!

This is a fantastic story of love and forgiveness. This story is extremely well written and narrated. It might be a short story but it packs one hell of a punch. Tragedy brings the characters together. It sad but so true.
The narrator does a fabulous job with the characters and voices of each character which makes it easy to distinguish between the characters and voices of each character. He does an amazing job with the male and female voices.
I can’t wait for more books narrated by this narrator. Guy put a lot of emotion into the characters, which brings the characters to life.
I definitely recommend this book!

And baby makes 3

Took a little while to warm up to the narrator. Story was enjoyable enough though. Could have been a little more in depth.

I cried!!

I listened to this a few times and cried each time. I felt the pain of the death of the sister and also cried at the pain of not being accepted by the father for being gay.. Happy tears came later in the story and I left the book remembering how my mother told me to never tell anyone that I was bisexual. I felt this story.

Dex and Matthew plus a baby!

I was happy to hear this story took place 3 years after book 1. In this one, Dex and Matthew are now living the happily married life. Then a tragedy strikes and here we are...

I was not too keen on what happened with the family, but I’m glad there was a resolution to Matthew’s past. It’s just said it took a tragedy for the healing to take place.

Beautiful story though. Dex and Matthew are solid and it’s proven again in this book.

The narrator’s style isn’t really my cup of tea. 😞

more pain

After all these two, Dexter and Matthew, had been through in the previous book; I foolishly thought they had earned a reprieve and some happiness- wrong!!! There are some positive outcomes from the tragedy which were long overdue and some positive growth. The excuses Ray used are sad and just excuses for bad behavior. He had years to learn, if he wanted to. Instead, he chose ignorance and biases. Hoping for great things and more awakenings in future books. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Such sadness

After listening to book one I knew I wanted to listen to this one and boy oh boy I was not expecting to bawl my eyes out because of Matthew losing his sister. There was so much heartache in this book but there is also so much healing that was done throughout this book. The narrator does a wonderful job
